A panel hung in the Jiandō room, Matsugaoka Bunko. "Jian" was the religious name given to Yakichi Ataka (1873-1949) by Suzuki. Ataka was brought up in the same town as Suzuki, and although three years younger was of great financial support to Suzuki. Ataka was also instrumental in the founding of the Matsugaoka Bunko. Written by Suzuki's lifelong friend Kitarō Nishida (1870-1945).
